LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 3/LR3/DISCOVERY 4/LR4 HALF ROOF RACK. This is a small run of just 10 racks for those that appreciate American made craftsmanship and functionality without compromising style. Very light weight, allows full clearance for the sunroof and lift gate with Genuine Land Rover rear ladder or similar, is the perfect solution for carrying a oversized spare wheel/tire and/or extra gear and has 1 right side rear light mounting tab to mount a auxiliary light (lights not included and please note some images show a left side light tab which will not be fitted on this batch).

This rack has been sandblasted to remove impurities prior to coating, zinc primer base coated and finished in satin/semi-gloss black powder coat. All my tubing bend components are C. Mandrel bent, all tubing joints are pneumatic/hydraulic notched and fully welded, all seam joints are sleeved, welded and sanded. All my mounting and light tabs are stamped. All my components are built in fixtures/jigs.

All tubing is cleaned prior to welding. All welds are gas G. Some quotes about myself and my work. Whoever designed that rack has the visual sense of a poet. I was so struck at how it's lines complimented those of the vehicle. Super clean and truly a work of art. Everything else on the market looks clumsy in comparison. That person has an amazing sense of design.

If you're going for a custom rack hit up Derek at Urban Offroad, that gent has mad chops in fabrication. Derek has done some custom work for me as well as facilitate me in procuring other products that he does not manufacture. I can assure you that my experiences have all been fantastic.

He is a consummate professional in his own very artistic way. In short, you can get stuff from Derek that is highly functional and looks pretty damn sweet too. You come highly recommended from the members of the Defender Source. Wish I'd found you sooner.

Personally I'm very interested to see what else you have in store for the years to come, especially in the Land Rover market where quality custom parts (that look good on the vehicle too) are few and far between. So that said I don't know what else you have coming, but if you have plans to do things like rock sliders, winch mount front and/or swing away tire carrier rear bumpers, and skid plates; you can count on hearing from me again. All the parts worked extremely well. Everything mounted super easy, held on well throughout all the various trail surfaces, and looks great.
